Self Propelled Function Will No Longer Engage

The drive cable has either broken or became disconnected from the clutch lever. Whenever I pull in the left and right drive cable levers on the handlebar they pull in without any tension now even after being adjusted with the nut on the cable and will not engage the selp propelled function on the lawnmower. Can someone please email me a procedure for performing this repair myself ?
