Won't Dispense Water And Stopped Making Ice.

My hotpoint refrigerator seems to be having an issue with the dispenser switch, and has now stopped making ice. The water line isn't frozen. It seems the lever that is depressed is broken somehow. When pressed it doesn't make a sound and nothing happens.
