Fuses

hoover power dash pet carpet cleaner wont turn on. Second time ive used it. Where is the fuse and how do i replace it? It is not in the end of the plug either.

If still under warranty, have repaired/replaced/refund under warranty. Did a search for a service/repair manual with no luck. All I can suggest is to disassemble the vacuum to access motor connections and carefully test there with DVOM for power when switch on. If power is present at the motor and motor not running, would signify motor faulty. If no power present at motor you will have to trace back through wire harness in search of bad/damagedwire/plug/relay/fuse/switch. Does a Hoover vacuum have a fuse?

You may have blown a household fuse or need to reset the circuit breaker. Hoover Windtunnel cleaners also have an automatic shutoff installed if the vacuum gets too hot.
