Hoover F7452900 Stopped Working The Second Time I Used It. I Was Using It In Ca

I have a Hoover maxextract F7452900. The second time I used it on my carpets it was working fine until I tried to attach the attachments. Once attached I got nothing but a low hum with pressing the trigger. I removed the attachment and still nothing when I turn it on. Only a low hum when I depress the trigger.
