Borrowed Sons Hoover F72229rm.brushes Stopped Rotating.see Loose Spring,need Par
have removed vac cover,now that I bought son a new hoover.switch to turn brushes on/off seems fine. I see a disconnected spring.need the part that will allow brushes to rotate again.whatever black plastic part that connect to spring.spring is connected closer to switch,loose closer to when brushes should turn.they do rotate independently when brushes removed to clean.looks like easy fix.tried a repair shop. said the machine was junk and tried to sell me a new high end one.didn't appear he ever took it apart.HELP!
