I Would Like To Find A Functional Description Of The Honeywell Ct87 Thermostat
I have the installation manual. I want to find out what the thermostat actually does when it calls for heat, and what the switch settings actually do. Seems that the CT87 closes the path between R and W contacts about 5 times a second, instead of providing a steady closure as the old mechanical thermostat did. Consequently, it takes a lot longer for a heat call to do warm up the old B&G zone valve actuators on the boiler.
