T8511g
the red check light comes on. If I turn the thermostat off it turns off the light. When I turn it back on it runs for 5-10 minutes then the compressor shuts off and only the fan runs. This is our 4th thermostat in 10 years. Do I need to replace it again if so what is compatable.

I would suggest you see the thermostat's manual here or resubmit advising what product model you are using the thermostat with and whether on not you are receiving the red light from the thermostat or otherwise.
