Honeywell 'mychime' Wireless Doorbell Rcwl2200a

I recently purchased the Honeywell "Mychime" wireless doorbell.  The problem is with the software.  First of all, I don't have a PC (I have a Mac) so I used my friend's PC with Windows 7.  I know it says to use Windows XP or 2000, but who still uses those systems anymore? They are dinosaurs.  Anyway, I installed the mini disk in and uploaded it to my friends PC. I thought I was up and running. I took the snippet of each song that I wanted and hit the "Download" button.  I kept getting this wierd error signal saying that there was a "cashe" problem.  But the thing said that memory had been usded on the USB soundcard, so I assumed that the file(s) were downloaded. So I placed the sound card back into the chime and gave it a try.  Nothing but the pre-programmed stuff.  By the way, how do you even select a particular song that you want to have play?  Anyway, please help.  Thank you.
