Thermostat Will Not Trigger Heat After Replacing Batteries

My thermostat batteries died while away. I replaced them and it appears to be working but no matter how high I push the temperature the burner is not pushing out warm air, only cool. I switched it out with another 3400 in the house and that works fine. I keep the thermostats on hold Temp all the time an adjust manually as needed. Do I need to reprogram the thermostat after installing new batteries in order for it to work properly

If you don't insert new batteries within 20 to 30 seconds of removing the old ones, you will have to reprogram the thermostat.
