Jumper Settings

Hi I have a Hatachi Deskstar model HDS728080PLAT20 82.3GB & I need to use it as my master hard drive & need to know were to put the jumpers thanks regards Brenda

In most cases the settings are marked on the circuit board or the connector if you look closely.

On the back of the drive you will see two horizontal rows of pins.  One row has one extra pin.  Orient the drive so that row is on top when viewed from the rear.  For master the 2 jumpers should be oriented vertically and on the jumper pins to the far right and far left when looking at the back of the drive.
