Lamp Reset

My machine powers on and stays for a couple of seconds then shuts off and my lamp light comes on. Why does it do this?

Various things could happening. If the light is going green then the unit is powered on and awaiting a command to select the input source (Page 16 of user manual). If you take a look at the user manual available from this link:

Refer to page 4 and there is mention of a complete system reset not just a reset.

This could be your problem but it could be just waiting to be told what to do. If you need to ask another question then please give as much information as possible to enable us to give you solution..
