A Big Pink Cloud On The Screen.
Hi, MY Hitachi 60v500 - 60" Rear Projection TV screen shows a big cloud PINK tone on the screen and I´ve reset it to manufactory levels but the problem wasn´t fixed. Could you help me? The warranty was expired 7 years ago. I already changed the lamp 2 times and I´ve payed arund 70 dollars each. NOw, if I have change another kind of lamp, how much should I spend for it please? I´m considering to sell my TV. Thank you to your support.

Most likely the light engine/color wheel is failing. I suggest you start on page 8 & troubleshoot using the status lights.
