I Need Help!
ok i have the 42hdt50 and the cord that goes in the back of the TV to the control box is not working know where I could buy a new one???

There are other suppliers of the same item if you do a google search.
It is a standard computer IEC lead available everywhere. Ask your friends if they kept one when disposing of old PCs.
