Hitachi Hdtv Ph35531 Turns On, Lights Flash, No Pic, No Sound.

The last time we used out tv it worked fine and then we went to turn it on the next day and it would not work. When you push to power button, the blue (power) light flashes as normal and then the lamp and fan lights begin to flash quickly and there is a humming noise from the back of the tv. The picture nevers come on and there is no audio. We have checked both fans and they are working. We cleaned the back of the tv to clear away and dust. The noise is coming from the area marked for the circuit board. What can we do to find out what is wrong for sure?
