Touchpad Locked - Can't Enable

Yellow light is on Have tried double clicking with no luck.

You need an external USB mouse for simplicity. Then go to the hidden icons in the taskbar (bottom right) - the synaptics touchpad will be "disabled". Right click the icon & choose properties and re-enable the device. Don't know why it disables itself thoug.
