Strange Problem With C5100

I have a very strange problem with my C5100 printer. When I disconnect the USB printer cable from my laptop the printer goes powered off. When I reconnect the printer turn on again. But only when i reconnect to the same laptop. If i connect to another laptop it stays powered off. Grateful if anyone can help to solve this. Regards, Harry

It could be that you have a setting in control panel that enables the USB port to bring a printer out of standby and the other laptop does not. I have found one issue with the USB for your printer and this is the link.
