Connecting To Wireless - Open Set-up Wizard ?

I just bought HP 6500A - e710a. Spent about 5 days trying to turn the Radio/Blue Light On. Do I need an App or other ? is the unit in fact ready for Wireless out-of-the-box ? I cannot bring up the Wireless Set-up Wizard ! I downloaded the CD and used theUSB connect approach but need the printer to be OnLine first ? Network Configuration page print out says "offline". Ihave At&t wireless and have the Network Name/Password.Thank you for your help.

Okay, here's what you need to do.  Follow this link.  When the new page opens, you'll see a box outlined in green with a title of "Select from the below."  You'll need to use those five links when necessary and be sure you have followed all instructions before you move on to the next link.  However, the first link and the last are the most important.

1.  Install software & drivers --  You have to make sure you have the correct software and drivers installed on your computer.  If you do not, then you'll never get the wireless printer option working.  So, be sure to download and then install the appropriate software for your computer.

5.  Wireless & Network --  I don't know what you're OS is, but odds are it's a Microsoft product.  So, you'll most likely be using the fifth link for your instructions on setting up wireless.  The link is entitled:

Installing the Printer Software on a Wireless or Wired (Ethernet) Network

Note:  If you don't have Windows XP or 7, then you'll need to follow one of the other 5 links to get your specific instructions.
