Press the Power button ( ) to turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
With the printer turned on , disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Wait at least 15 seconds, and then plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
If the printer does not turn on by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.
Try to make a color copy.

If these steps resolved the issue , you do not need to continue troubleshooting.
If the issue persists , continue to the next solution.

Solution two: Check the power connection Follow these steps to troubleshoot the power connection.

Press the Power button ( ) to turn off the printer.
Unplug the printer power cord from any surge protector, extension cord, or power strip, and then connect the power cord directly to a wall outlet.
Turn on the printer.
Try to make a color copy.
- If these steps resolved the issue , you do not need to continue troubleshooting. The surge protector, extension cord, or power strip you were using does not allow enough voltage for the printer to work properly.
- If the issue persists , try connecting the printer power cord to a different wall outlet, and then try to make another color copy.
- If the printer still does not work properly when plugged into a different wall outlet , continue to the next section to service the printer.

The next step is to service the product. If you have completed all the preceding steps and are still experiencing a problem, service the product.
