Hello everyone!
I had this same problem with my printer.
To resolve the error E8 my M1132 did the following:
Replaces Motor Scanner.
It is very simple, you can use the engine on another HP multifunction, laser need not be, can be the C4480, 1510, 3050.2050 etc., I believe this engine is standard, as used in a C4480. If you have no standing to remove junk motor, you should find it on any computer printer to make repairs, should cost no more than about $ 50.00.
To replace do the following:
1 - Detach the scanner cover (is that you put the paper down).
To put it disengages the printer facing you open the lid, with her upright, take a slight pressure on the corner pushing it backwards.
2 - After that you will have access to 6 top screws that release the top casing (the one with the glass), you will find 4 screws on each count of the housing and two at the rear edge where the cap was fitted.
3 - After unscrewing all the screws to make a slight upward pressure on housing that it will let go.
4 - You now have access to the scan head is very simple release the ribbon cable that feeds the engine, loosen the two screws that holds it, and put another in place and how it can be said of another HP printer.
Okay, problem solved!
I hope it helped you!
