Sizing Problems With Scanned Document

I am trying to scan a document and when done it is too large so the image scanned only takes a small part of the document rather than the whole page

1. When you are scanning, selct preview in dialog box, once prevew appears on screen drag & select the desired area, then say scan, save it.

2. check once scanner properies settings.
