Hp Printer Cp 1700 Carriage Latch

The Carriage latch on my HP printer CP 1700 is brokenIt is a small plastic part ( 1 1/2" by 2 1/2") that looks like an 'A' that latches the cover over the access area to the print heads I can't seem to find one listed at any of the parts sites I have found on the web.David
