Hp Laserjet M4555h Mfp(ce738a) Replaced Formatter Board And New Harddrive, Help!
I asked this question in different terms but i replaced the formatter board and installed a new hard drive and updated the firmware, now the scanner function on the printer is blacked out. any resolutions for this? i cannot find it anywhere.

here is the software you need for your printer https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/hp-color-laserjet-cp1000-printer-series/model/3422475; you do need the software you updated your harddrive
