Hp A6554f Recovery

My hard drive crashed and all of my data has been recovered and I had to buy a new pc. I can buy a new hard drive for my "old" pc, but I need to get the operatimg system back and I do not remember creating recovery files. If I did, I can't find them. How do I hget my old system up and running.

BEST WAY IS TO CHECK WITH hp AS THEY MAY STILL BE ABLE TO PROVIDE A SET OF RECOVERY DISCS
