Laptop Shutting Down.
While using 6710b Laptop screen goes black and few seconds later computer shuts down completely. This occurs both on battery and AC power. Please advise if this is common and what causes it.

Does your battery charge? The battery may be going bad, which could cause the computer to shut down. This can happen especially on older laptops where the power jack has gotten slightly banged up from use, so if the power cord jiggles even slightly in the jack and the battery is faulty, the computer will shut down.
If you can rule out the battery, make sure your computer is up to date on all firmware, drivers, and updates. If the problem still occurs it may be an issue with the motherboard, as the power goes through the board to the other components.
