First off, you need to make sure the item you ordered is eligible for cancelletion:

Most Goods items can be canceled within 2 hours of purchase, except for Final Sale items: check the Fine Print.
Local deals can be canceled within 3 days of purchase.
GrouponLive event deals can only be canceled on the day of purchase.
You can't cancel deals you purchased as gifts.

If it meets this criteria then you can cancel by following the instructions here:

Visit your My Groupons page and click "View Details" next to the order—if the "Edit order" link is active, you can edit the order.

If the "Edit order" link is grayed out, you will not be able to edit this order yourself. Please contact us if you need more help with this order.

If you're trying to use a promotional code that didn't apply to this order, you can try to cancel the order and repurchase the deal with the code, or use the code on another deal.
