Remove And Change Light Bulb On Ge Jvw5301 Range Hood
Page 9 says use a flathead screwdriver to remove ring but does not tell you how to do this. Push, pull, pry of pray.

Four methods are possible:
1) having the specific screwdriver made for this - Not Likely!
2) BEST OPTION: using a flat blade that is tiny enough to make a good fit in one side of the split, and just turn normally. It works beautifully. Mate and hold the blade into that slot at 90° - don't try to 'compensate' by angling the driver.
3) find a flatblade driver of the right size, and grind out the center to fit around.
4) buy a 'security bit set' from Harbor Freight. It has bits for those kind of screwheads... May need to be modified.
