Door Problem

This microwave has an acrylic clear door panel and a screen inside, food splatters and steam get between the screen and the outter acrylic panel and cannot be cleaned. Is this the poor way this is engineered or is my oven missing an inner panel?

There should be a thin plastic sheet stuck on the black perforated metal inside of the of the door. If you removed that sheet thinking that is was temporary and used for protection during shipping you made a big mistake. That part can be perched at Sears parts for about $69 but can be had as low as $36 if you shop well. The plastic sheet is called a door screen. I did a search 10-12-2013 and have found a suppliers out of stock
