Ringer Stopped Working

For unknown reason, the ringer stopped working for incoming calls. Could I have inadvertently changed a setting to stop the phone from ringing. Is there a way to change some setting to restart the ringing sound? If the ringing system is broken, can it be fixed? Everything else with the phone works fine.
