The New Phone Will Not Register. When I Push 'reg' It Says Registration Failed.

I called the 18005113180 number and first they instructed me to take the battery out for 45 secs and try again. didn't work, finally we fixed it. first hit the soft registration button, then hold the page button down on the base and it will work. do this continually til all of the handsets work. unfortunately, the manual wasn't helpful in the slightest bit, hope this helps!
