Remove Spare Tire

There should be tools that came with the vehicle. They might be in a pouch under the passenger's seat or somewhere else in the vehicle. It will have a wrench and a couple of rods. You put the wrench and rods together and place the rod in the hole in the back bumper.

There should be a hole next to the license plate where the rod goes into. You turn it counterclockwise (I believe) to lower the spare tire down from under the vehicle. You may have difficulty doing it, since the mechanism rusts up over time.
