Swapping The Platter
I don't know the difference between the type code on a 2.5" Fujitsu hard drive, "FFS G1" and a "G2" so could someone please tell me? I am looking at taking the platter out of my old MJA2320BH FFS G1 hard drive and putting it into a G2. Would there be any issues with doing this?For more info, my hard drive has the click of death so I'm looking at recovering my contents by taking my platter and placing it in a working drive.
