Hi mambmam! This is a great question, I can suggest some troubleshooting tips before contacting a service provider for your washer, model ATF7000FE. Concerning the washer draining, you may want to check to make sure that there are not any clogs in the washing machine drain. Make sure the drain hose is not too long. For the concern with the washer not spinning, use the suggested amount of detergent; over filling can result in oversudsing in the tub, and restricting the tub from turning properly. Make sure that the door is closed and sealed correctly. Make sure that your load is balanced. An unbalanced load can cause the washer to either stop spinning mid cycle or not spin at all. If all of these suggestions pan out and the problem still persists, you could possibly have a defective timer or drain pump.

Think about what may have happened prior to this occurrence. For instance, did you notice any error codes, odors, alarms, or other strange functions prior to this issue? If you are still having these issues and can think of anything in particular, please feel free to reconnect. Best Regards -
