Oven Will Not Bake Or Broil At All.

I began baking something and smelled a faint, plastic-like smell. Then I noticed that my oven was barely heating. My touchpad works fine, but the oven will not work at all, Fan works, but no baking or broiling. My home breaker is not tripped. What could be wrong> How can I fix it?

Hi amysmithkc8 – Unplug the range or flip the household circuit breaker. Wait approximately ten minutes and then turn the unit back on. If the oven continues to not bake or broil, then the unit could possibly be experiencing an issue with the wiring failure, EOC (electronic oven control), sensor probe and/or faulty element(s). I would strongly recommend consulting a professional to narrow down the precise issue before investing in parts that may or may not be the root cause.
