Refrigeraotr Model Model Fphi2187kf Door Is Not Closing

To Whom It May Concern: The reason I am writing this letter is because of two persistent problems that we have being experiencing with our Frigidaire refrigerator. The data on the refrigerator is as follows: Model FPHI2187KF Serial Number 4A94905759 We purchased this refrigerator together with other Frigidaire equipment like a stove and dishwasher from Pacific Sales in Torrance, California. The equipment has a very good appearance and it was priced very competitive. Except for the refrigerator the rest of the equipment has function correctly ever since we bought it We purchased an extended warranty from Pacific Sales for all the equipment. Since the day the refrigerator was delivered we have problems.   It was purchased on 12/26/09 and delivered on 12/31/09. The day of the delivery the technician doing the set has to adjust the level of the refrigerator because the door was closing properly. This refrigerator is in our vacation home so we use it for one or two days every two to three weeks. It is not the situation that we use it daily like the one at our house. By February 2010 we found that the door will not close and a tapping noise could be heard from the ice maker area. Under the extended warranty service was performed on 03/16/10. The technician changed some parts in a fan and adjusted the door by leveling the refrigerator. The door problem returned forcing me to trying leveling the refrigerator many times until it will close. We called for this problem again on service was performed in 09/16/10. Again the technician following the manual played with the level until the door would close. What he did was raise the front to help the door to close. I told him that would not solve the problem but he insisted it was the leveling, and surely enough the next morning the door will not close again. The problem is that the door is sagging. In this refrigerator the light switch is located in the control panel that is located in the center of the unit. In normal operating conditions the rounded lower edge of the top shelf in the door should make contact with the tip or above the tip of the lever of the light or at any contact point over the tip of the light switch. When the contact is made in the correct area the switch will be pushed down and in with minimum effort. If the door sags the rounded lower edge of the top shelf will contact the light switch below its tip and striking the rounded portion of the light switch. Under this condition the switch will be pushed into a mechanical lock and the door will bounce. How do we get around this problem? Every time we close the door we have to push the door up and in to be able to close it. We have made another appointment with the extended warranty service for a future visit that unless I get some help form Frigidaire it will go the same way as it did go before. The refrigerator door top edge is not parallel with the lower edge of the freezer door by as much as 3/32 of an inch. I do not see any possible way to adjust the hinges to correct this problem. Both hinges appear to be at its maximum adjustment range. The sag indicates that something was wrong with the hinges from the first day. I had Frigidaire refrigerators since I was young. They lasted forever I have two at my house and one of them is close to twenty years of working with no problems. The newer one is eight years old and doing very well. We bought the Model FPHI2187KF because is ideal for a vacation home and I was seriously considering for furnishing the 16 units rental that we will be finishing in August, but no more. Please I need help! Thank you for your help. Felix Sasso 9627 Beverlywood St Los Angeles California, 90034.   PS: I am an engineer so if you need to put some engineer or other technical person to talk to me to understand the problem, please feel free to do so.
