Frigidaire Refrigerator Model#frs26lr5cwo Serial#la34408769
this refrigerator unit will randomly make a noise behind the ice tray. Its hard to describe but u can hear it from 20 feet away,sounds like a charging noise or maybe a squeeling noise or could be described as the electrical sounds u would hear on a telephone pole. i vacuumed the unit to no evail i unplugged it for 5 minutes to no evail i turned off the ice maker to no evail ....do u know what is wrong with my fridge?

Hello gatonrisoli – That is an interesting description. The location and noise you are experiencing is not a common failure/complaint. A possibility is ice in the evaporator fan blade (the fan in the freezer). At first, the ice forms next to or above the blade, only slightly touching it and causes a whirling noise as the fan continues to circulate. Eventually, the ice will completely block the blade and prevent its rotation.
