Why Does Dishwasher Motor Intermit Durin Wash Cycle

Hello Marcoolce, thank you for your post!

This often occurs because the wash motor will pulsate at the beginning of the main wash cycle and final rinse to clear the fine filter in the base of your dishwasher. Otherwise, the motor does cycle on and off at various intervals throughout the cycle, mainly during drain and dry cycles. I do hope this information proves to be helpful.
