Dishwasher Aborts Operation As It Starts Wash Cycle, pumps Out Water, Lights Blin

The unit was working properly until her drain clogged and back flooded into the dishwasher.  Now the unit starts and fills w/water but just as it enters the wash cycle it abrubtly aborts and drains itself and then shuts down and all the indicator lights start flashing.  I believe this unit has 2 separate motors. The drain pump obviously works fine.  Could the power spray pump motor have been jammed by the back flooding?  Is there any other sensor etc. that could have been clogged/jammed etc. that would cause this unit to abort the cycle?  This unit is completely electronic so I can't "watch and listen" for any clues as to what is wrong. There is no electronic display so there are no codes etc. Thank you for any suggestions.

Hello SirGar,

Thanks for your inquirying post! Typically when a dishwasher aborts any programmed setting or cycle it is not communicating correctly with the main control board. Now you did mention that there were no error codes on the display but you had flashing lights. Which lights are flashing? This can help determine the problem and resolution. If turning the circuit breaker off to the unit for approximately 5 minutes does not help the performance I would contact a service professional. With the units being completely electric and having no error code display it is very difficult to accurately troubleshoot this yourself. Hope this helps!
