7yr Old Makes Loud Screeching Sound

my dryer is 7 yrs old and makes a loud screeching sound is has done this for awhile but it is getting worse. Do you think it would be worth it to fix it?

The most common thing that causes a squeak on Frigidaire dryers is a worn out rear bearing. Is is located in the centre of the rear part of the dryer drum. To replace it, the dryer has to be torn all the way apart. If you are not handy, you will want a professional to do this. A common thing that I look for without tearing the dryer apart to see if the bearing is worn out is I look for black dust/residue coming out of the centre of the back part of the dryer.
