Unit Not Turning On

Based on the symptoms you are describing, you may either have an internal sealed system issue or faulty power supply. Make sure your dehumidifier plug is tightly pushed into electrical outlet and not plugged into a GFI. Because it is a smaller appliance, repairs are often more costly than the actual appliance replacement.
