Sata Hdd's

i have a foxconn motherboard p43al series, but it cannot detect my sata hdd i put on it. pls. tell me what to do. thanks!

If it's not detecting the hard drive then there's something wrong with either the SATA port on the motherboard, the SATA cable, or the hard drive itself. I recommend testing the hard drive in another computer with the same SATA cable. If it works then the motherboard is at fault.
