2004 Ford Excursion Dvd Player Is Broke. Bought New 1 But Have 1 Issue.
I have 2004 ford excursion and DVD player wont eject. I know it's the gears and I just want to replace the DVD player only, so I bought a new one which is for a 2004 ford expeditio. The one from my 04 Excursion has a 5 pin connector for the remotes' sensors and this new one has a 4 pin connector. Other than that they look identical. As I do not know which connector wire goes where, i would like to know if it's possible for me to switch sensors or plug the 4 pin male connector into the 5 female connector? It will go in but I need tk make sure the wires match up with each other when connected together. This is the closest DVD player I've gotten to match as I can't find one exactly identical. I have sold my vehicle but the buyer wants the DVD player working for his grand kids or he wont buy it. If I'm out of luck with this option, could you please tell me another option?
