Engine Start Problem,intermitent Starts Focus 2005 Touring 1.6 Tdci

I have intermitent engine stars ,dispay goes all "---" red led blinks fast , esp and coiled sign stais on, and gear circle with exclamation sign in middle also on . Any iddeas
