Focus 2000 Won't Stsrt

I replaced the serpentine belt and motor mounts. Now the car won't start. It cranks over but doesn't start . checked fuel pump, battery and all wiring for loose wire and or cracked damaged wires. The car ran smoothly before. Checked all plugs and connections. Really need some sound advice or have I overlooked anything?

Double check all electrical connections, those removed during the replacements & any that possibly disengaged during the process. The 1st thing to do is check to see if the "Theft" light is flashing while trying to crank the engine!
The second thing to do is to scan the PCM for any stored codes! Go to this page for possible solutions.

NOTE: The 2 MOST common causes for a "No Start" condition on this vintage Focus is the Timing Belt and the fuel pump! (In that order)

ADDED: The coil pack is a common problem to cause a misfire but, not a "No Start" condition on this vehicle!

I hope this is helpful to you!
