With the engine off, pull the dipstick and wipe it clean with a rag to get a fresh reading then replace the stick. Make sure its fully seated then pull it again. The mark closest to the end of the stick is one quart low, the words "add quart" are engraved by it. The other mark is the full mark. Checking the oil level after the vehicle has been sitting a little while will give you the most accurate reading as it takes a few minutes for all the oil to seap back into the pan after circulation.
If you agree that the answer I provided is correct please remember to "accept" and/or mark it as "helpful" so I know I'm doing a good job. Thank you, I would really appreciate it.
