2005 Ford Explorer Sport Trac Coolant Leak Question
I have a 2005 Explorer Sport Trac, roughly 88000 miles ... recently have had the thermostat, waterpump, associated gaskets, and accessory belt replaced. Noticed yesterday, coolant from the Sport Trac in the gutter in front of the Sport Trac in my parking spot at home. Checked coolant reservoir and found it empty ... refilled, looked for leaks - none, started Sport Trac and looked for leaks - none, drove to work (Interstate driving at roughly 60 mph for 20 miles), Service Engine LIght came on, Sport Trac not overheating (temperature gauge where it normally is when driving), checked reservoir when I got to work, level still the same from when I filled it up last night .. coworker indicating possible cracked head or blown head gasket ... what are possible scenerios based to possible coolant leak, service engine soon light, no signs of overheating
