My Interior Lights Wont Shut Off When I Turn Off Truck And When I Close Doors

Either the knob that dims the dash lights is turned to constant on or your door pin switch is so theres nothing letting the truck know the door is closed.

I bought my truck used 12 years ago and had the same problem. The dealer knew about it and simply removed the bulbs. I desided to replace them a short time later and discovered that they always stayed on! After a little investigation I found that my pasenger side door latch wasn't secure and the body of it would turn. Sometimes it would work and other times the door ajar light would stay on. Haven't replaced it yet but I'm sure that's the problem.
