Washer Dead After An Electric Surge In House

Our washer was dead after an electrical surge went through the house. Is it worth trying to fix? Someone told us most likely the control panel was fried. Is it easy to fix and worth the effort. Looks like this washer has been discontinued.

Hi. It is worth fixing as virtually all parts on the model are replaceable - only see if you can successfully locate the part (Circuit board which must most likely be the affected part)
