Memorialized Account

Please advise, it appears a disgruntled exgirlfriend has tried to take over managment of my sons face book account; the account is now memorialized and prevents us from adding new friends and events; this is most distressing to the immediate family, myself as next of kin, and the many friends that are just finding out about this and live outside the country; they want to be able to view his photos and find mutual friends; we are also planning an event that will require we are able to send to all his friends; The girlfriend has tried to blackmail the family to get possession of my sons guitar his only treasured possession, which she has no claim to ownership nor can she play. ths was not his wish; this girl also tried to present herself to the funery as his fiance; they had only dated 3 months and had broken up aprox 3 times during that time. WE the family are very heartbroken and distressed over his early sudden death and the malicious actions of this person. I would like to have back the control of my sons account so that we may continue with our plans; what documentaion do you need from me and how do I get this to you?

You would need to contact facebook. I suggest going through their customer service phone line (yes I know it is tedious, but it could solve the problem) and explaining what is going on. Someone may be able to assist you in getting the correct paperwork to them so you can regain control of his facebook.
