Xp 424, Installed New Cartridges, Printing And Copying Blank!

I have installed cartridges several times prior, always worked. Have run all related maintenance 2X. Setup info all correct, connected to wifi, and did not get error message back on pad. These are brand new Epson cartridges, and having run maintenance, ink level depleted to 1/2 black cartridge with NO printing!! Where is the ink going????HELP......Vicki Smith

Have you tried resetting the printer its defaults? This can be done from the front control panel. Refer to page 219 onwards of the user guide. You can obtain a copy from this link:
