Fan Speed Reduction.

I need to reduce the exhaust capacity of the my range hood. I was hoping there was separate wires for the 4 speeds. I would like to keep 1 and 2. Or is there another suggestion?

Actually the 4 fan speeds have their own wire in the harness from the motor. All you have to do is cut the black and grey wires. If you look at the wiring diagram you can see on the board s1, s2, s3, s4. These are the four speeds.

Hello – Generally speaking, Frigidaire range hoods are automatically programmed to the available options on the unit. All speed and operations are programmed into the control board and cannot be altered.
